PAUSA presents a wide variety of music shows and artistic exhibitions from local, national and international artists. The relaxed atmosphere of the venue attracts patrons who wish to attend an intimate concert or an art exhibit while enjoying a glass of wine, beers, spirits, tapas and panini sandwiches.

PAUSA Art House is the winner of JazzBuffalo Poll 2022 – “Best Small Jazz Venue” and we are located in the Historic District of Allentown, Buffalo New York.

Lázara Martinez, the owner of PAUSA, was born in Cuba and started playing the violin at 8 years old. After graduating with an Honor Diploma from the renowned Amadeo Roldan Conservatory, she moved to Santo Domingo where she became part of the National Symphony Orchestra. Three years later, she decided to go back to her homeland and joined the National Symphonic Orchestra of Cuba in Havana, performing as a soloist and principal violinist with Camerata Romeu.
